When is registration for Little League baseball?

Registration for Robinson Community Little League typically open from February 1st to March 31st.

What ages does Little League offer baseball for?

Robinson Community Little League offers divisions for youth age 6-15.  Little League's age cutoff date is September 1st.  To find your child's league age please see our Age Chart.  For the 2025 season players need to be born between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2019 to be eligible.

Which division should my child tryout for?

Robinson Community Little League offers four divisions of baseball and there are overlaps in the ages for most divisions.  We encourage players to play in divisions based on their abilities and ask them to tryout for multiple divisions if they want.  The divisions we offer are Peewee (6-8), Minor (7-11), Major (9-12), and Junior (13-15).

Can my child play in more then one division?

Since all divisions are played during the same time players play in only one division.

Can we register for Little League baseball if we don't live in Robinson?

Robinson Community Little League's boundary includes all of Crawford County, Illinois.  Players who live and/or attend school in Crawford County are eligible to play.

Can we register for Little League baseball if we don't live in Crawford County?

Please check Little League's League Finder page to find if your community has a local league.  Little League will allow players from neighboring communities to register if there is not a Little League division offered for their age group.  Additionally, players that live outside of our boundary but attend school in Crawford County are eligible.

What equipment is needed to play Little League baseball?

Players should have their own well-fitting baseball glove.  We recommend players also have their own baseball bat, batting helmet, baseball cleats and equipment bag.  Peewee League teams are provided teams bats if players need to use them.

Thanks to generous donations from RCLL families we do keep used equipment and clothing.  Please contact us if you are needing a bat, helmet, shoes, pants, etc.  We'll gladly accept equipment donations at the end of the season!

Are uniforms provided to players?

Robinson Community Little League will provide team hats and jerseys for all players.  Parents will need to supply additional items like baseball pants, shoes, socks, etc.  Any color of baseball pants will work but the most common color is grey.
